I must be crazy, huh?

You don't really want to work for the rest of your life, do you? 

Sure you do.

I know it's hard to believe right now, but you can only sip so many
pina coladas or drink so many beers, and visit so many tropical islands
before the sheer gluttony of it all gives you a kind of indigestion
that only the filthy rich can understand.

But the grass really does seem to grow greener
on the other side of the fence, doesn't it?

While hitchhiking around the country, I asked a girl I'd made friends with,
"So, would you rather have a million dollars,
or would you rather have no problems?"

I'll spare you the cleverness -- she opted for the million dollars.

Marketing Rule #1 -
"Give people what they want,
not what they need."

She needed no problems.  But she wanted the million dollars.

Everyone needs no problems. 
But they'd rather have a million dollars. 
Wouldn't you think a million dollars, right now,
would solve a lot of your problems?

Maybe.

But if you're functioning properly,
something in you knows that the solution would only be temporary.
And a temporary solution is no solution at all.

In fact, Mahatma Ghandi once suggested that a great source of human suffering came in the form of unearned money.

So admit it.  You need to be free of misery and suffering.
But you'd rather have a million dollars.
Admit that, and already you're one step closer to both.

And it gets even easier....you'll see.
